Stretch Your Body In Ways Its Never Experienced Before

By Andrew Khor
Ancient Thai Body Work

How many of you have been to Thailand and experienced Ancient Thai Body Work. Well some years ago when I was at a meditation workshop conducted by Katharina Bless in Chiangmai. I decided to experience Thai Bodywork Massage.

And what an experience, this big sized lady used her feet, her arms and her elbows to give me a workout that i will never forget. Luckily for me. she didn't use her teeth!

When I walked out, my feet was not touching the ground. I was that lightheaded. My blood was swimming faster. And I don't know whether I made it back to my room!

Since then I have heard many claims and benefits for this type of bodywork, all complementary. It appears that no one's complaining about their body being all knotted up.

So anyway, K. Kenny, a Malaysian teacher would like to introduce Thai Yoga Bodywork to Malaysians or to anyone interested in learning about it. There is an email attached with all the details and costs of this 5 day workshop.

It's planned for Aug 30th to Sept 3rd. Pls call +603 80606970 or +6012 9105812.

Being all knotted up can be physically rewarding. And besides, learning this is fun.

Thai Yoga

Bodywork (Nuad Borarn)
Class level 1 – The Foundation

What is it?

Thai Yoga Bodywork therapy has evolved for thousands of years to its present form incorporating the wisdom and practices of the ancients. Nuad Boran , the Northern style ancient Thai massage, as it is known in Thailand has been practiced by monks and is used as a household therapy mainly revolved around family and friends. The ten Sen or energy lines are the main focus in Thai Yoga Bodywork. The massage helps clear the blockages in the energy lines and thus assists the body’s own natural healing process to restore balance.

Application

A typical Thai Yoga Bodywork sequence would consist of acupressure, massage and yoga stretches. The practitioner puts the receiver’s body into yoga postures, which normally they may not be able to experience by themselves, together with light manipulation of muscles and tendons to bring about relaxation and ‘opening up’ with stretching.

Who Learns Nuad Borarn?

Students come from a variety of backgrounds, from beginners to practitioners who wish to further their existing skills and even those who practice yoga and martial arts. Now this art is available in Malaysia to those who are interested to learn the traditional Thai bodywork therapy. Additional skills will surely be helpful to supplement one’s income!

Facilitator / Instructor

A former banker and management lecturer/trainer, K.Kenny, a Master/Teacher has more than 20 years accumulated experience in training and practicing therapies of Japanese Shiatsu, Thai Yoga Bodywork, Usui Reiki, Physical Fitness Instruction and Zhineng Qi Gong. • the Manual for Teachers, a document that explains the roles of teaching and learning and how to manage your own awareness through A Course in Miracles.

There is truly nothing else like it. And may never be again.

Sri Gurudev Rudrabhayandanda’s First Visit to Malaysia

Gurudev's Visit & Workshop From 13th to 23rd June, 2008

Written by Andrew Khor on 24th June, 2008

Having prepared for Guruji’s first visit to Malaysia, we were all eagerly looking forward to meeting the man.

I can confidently say, after meeting him, that he bears no resemblance to the official write-up on his Soul Searcher website.

Let me explain. The man has four doctorates, was a critically acclaimed prodigy at the age of ten and the extent of his knowledge and wisdom is longer than my right arm.

Now that can be very intimidating.

So I was expecting a mystic who was remotely attached to the world and who probably levitated to wherever he wanted to go. And was accompanied by an entourage who probably wanted everything to be perfect.

Instead, Gurudev turned out to be a very jovial and unassuming young man who likes to laugh and have a good joke and uses the same toilet like everyone else.

What a relief.

With the blood pressure restored to normal, we could breathe easily and participate in his workshops.

In the workshop, most of us were familiar with the concept of meditation but not with Ananth Yoga. So, even though I had read about pranayama, bandhans and mudras, neither my intellect nor my body was prepared for the actual practice of Ananth Yoga which required all of us to coordinate mental and physical muscles hitherto unused.

A participant after the end of the first day said, this is like rocket science! Brains were overloaded with new ideas and fingers were twisted into unaccustomed positions.

For experienced yoga students, this may have been a cakewalk but for all of us who were new to the practice of yoga, the synergistic module of breathing, locks and mudras were a revelation. There was a lot of internal discussion and questions were rattled off at Guruji who took it quite calmly and explained everything.

The only thing is Guruji speaks softly and he has a strong accent which made it difficult for some of the Chinese speakers to understand, so there were some translations on the side.

One key tenet of Ananth Yoga is the firing of the navel chakra. In the traditional Taoist tradition, this is described as the tan tien, the centre of power in every human being.

According to Guruji, when the navel chakra is fired up, then we begin to be able to achieve deeper states of meditation and wellness. And we can progress better on the spiritual path as we will be able to receive the blessings of the navel or manipura – the city of jewels where many abilities are waiting to be activated.

One of the participants, two days after the first Ananth Yoga session wrote to us about his experience. He said that as he was about to sleep after the second day of Ananth Yoga, he saw a green like color in his inner vision and he could feel the presence of a being. He asked me who it was and I explained that different people have different experiences after undergoing a diksha.

I had learned earlier that Guruji without telling anyone had subtly initiated diksha amongst the participants. Most of the participants did not know about it but people were reacting to it in unfamiliar ways.

But the major surprise was the activation of elixir or amrita after the first Ananth Yoga session.

Amrita, after the first session! This was quite unusual. Normally it takes some time – weeks or months of practice in other kinds of yoga before one can taste the elixir. So certainly, this was quite a surprise. And it created quite a buzz among the participants.

Some of us experienced this after the first session of Ananth. It was a very metallic like taste and subsequently for me, the metallic taste became slightly sourish after a few days and a week after, the taste is beginning to be a bit sweetish.

There are numerous tales and myths about amrita in yoga philosophy and it was like through the grace of the guru, a giant hand had brought this distant myth into our everyday reality. Amrita is described as the elixir of life because of its anti-aging and health properties. No wonder so many yogis even though they are aged, look rather youthful. For me the surprise has worn off but I am enjoying the taste everyday.

We are most grateful for the presence of Guruji in Malaysia. He has brought to light the ancient traditions of Patanjali and reinterpreted them in way which is suitable for this mad and chaotic age.

Invitation to Mindfulness Retreat Camp

Venue: Amberstone Eco Resort, Ulu Yam Selangor
Date: Fri 4 July 08 (meet at Clove&Clive 7am) - Sun 6 July 08 (departing 2pm)

Learning to understand ourselves is an intricate and tricky process. The work of understanding comes from our willingness to look within through the eyes of awareness, of mindfulness.

Retreat is for that purpose. A retreat is a safe environment where we are being given the space to work with ourselves fully, in total silence, as we watch with awe our relationship with ourselves, and the world. A retreat is precious and sacred as it is the best gift you could offer to yourself in the pursuit of self-happiness and peace through understanding and realisation.

We would like to invite those of you who are keen to check in for the weekend--to seek solitude, find peace and discover inner exploration away from the din of your busy life--to join us in our mindfulness retreat camp, this time at Amberstone Eco Resort in Ulu Yam, Selangor this 4 to 6 July.

We have found Amberstone to be a simple, serene and natural place for our mindfulness retreat. Since we choose to hold this July retreat at Amberstone, the retreat fee is lower than the previous ones at Enderong Resort, Janda Baik.

The programme will include sitting and walking meditation interspersed with talks and periodically, discussions. We will be observing Noble Silence and fasting (no solid food after noon) which are important criterias for the purification journey of mindfulness. To encourage the momentum of mindfulness to be nurtured, participants are encouraged to stay in for the duration of the retreat.

We welcome you on board this journey of peace and serenity with us. May you & your loved ones be well & happy always.

Love,
Lai Fun & Tuck Loon

Clove & Clive

Free Talk On Pranasakty by Master Manimaran & Master Sri Arathi Ma In Malaysia

Master Manimaran from Penang, Malaysia, a PranaShakty Master will be giving a FREE talk on the subject of self realization and happiness. Master Manimaran has traveled to many parts of the world giving his talks and teaching about Pranashakty. This, however, will be his FIRST Talk in Malaysia.

Master Sri Arathi Ma, is an American Master of Pranashakty. Malaysians are privileged to have her gracing our shores as it is quite a rare for her to be here.

The Practices and Teachings of Pranashakty

Pranashakty is a team of Masters and Teachers who offer a way to happiness and health (or sometimes called Self-Realization and Enlightenment) to the busy modern individual in the ancient lineage of the 18 Siddhars or Saints of India.

Pranashakty modernized the ancient Siddha Yoga teachings in a way that is conducive to modern life. The practice consists of healing and self-realization methods that can easily be practiced while having family and busy working lives.

Siddha Yogis are "perfected beings" that live a complete and rich life, embracing and immersing themselves fully in it.

The teachings of Pranashakty has 4 distinct stages that have to be integrated and mastered in order to come to the direct experience of one's true Self.

The stages are:

1. Human consciousness

2. Divine consciousness

3. Grace-Light or Master consciousness

4. Emptiness or Self-consciousness

Each stage needs to be made conscious and mastered. Exercises like Shakti Sarva Sadhana, mantras, specific meditation techniques, and Diksha (Activations andTransmissions) are given to initiate an alchemical process of experience from the limited, fragmented vision of one's Self to the whole and complete vision of one's Self.

Jyothi Diksha

Each gift of mantra or diksha is an invitation to make real, to realize IN soul, mind AND body. In this way, you are "carving" a path from your highest possible potential right into the present moment of your daily life's experience. The happiness, power that you are and the beauty of bliss can be expressed and come alive here and now.

This requires that you utilize the tools you are given on a daily basis. A teacher cannot force happiness and health upon another human being. Willingness and co-operation are essential. You are invited to realize for yourself.

Date: 25th May, Sunday
Time: 7pm
Place: Khoracle

Donations towards the Masters will be accepted for the Talk and Diksha.

Sri Rudrabhayananda In Malaysia

A REAL Guruji from India named Sri Rudrabhayananda will be in Malaysia to conduct a 2 day course on Ananth Yoga on June 14th and 15th, Sat and Sunday 2008. See bottom of post for more information about the event.
Sri Rudrabhayananda is apparently a prodigy. At the age of 10 he had already mastered what is known as the Auric Grid. Born in 1970, he has mastered various yoga disciplines and is now living a life of bhakti - service. He has agreed to come to Malaysia for the first time to attend to healing requests and conduct this two day workshop.

So, what is ANANTH YOGA?

ANANTH YOGA was devised by Gurudev Rudrabhayananda to help people work directly with the Energy for understanding the Divine. Over the past 3 years thousands of people have started understanding and gaining innumerable benefits as they practise Ananth Yoga daily.

This is the first stage towards Inner Bliss. Prana in normal parlance is translated into "breath" while the actual meaning has far more significance as it means life force. Jatragni or the fire in the belly has great relationship with the prana. In basic levels, we can talk about the energy received from the prana, which is harnessed through the Jatragni is to transform the whole life itself. This power is harnessed through the subtle energy centre known as Manipura Chakra. All the ancient cultures have accepted the fact that Manipura chakra is not a chakra relying on the mechanical process only but controls heart as well as the intelligence.

This is a powerful practical and physical method for gaining insights into the realm of Energy.

More on SRI RUDRABHAYANANDA

Sri Rudrabhayananda was born on the Spring Equinox of 1970, in the city of Delhi, the capital of India. Born in a family of educated and rich he was given the best of education and knowledge. He was given the name Venu Gopalan which means young Krishna holding a flute made of bamboo.

His father Sh. Rajagopalan was a devotee of Ganesh and was well versed in many Sanskrit scriptures. During his lifetime, he had learned from many teachers such as Swami Sivananda, Swami Agnivesh, Swami Rama, Sai Baba, Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti and others.

Sri Rudrabhayananda's paternal family comes from the Mullamutil lineage and the maternal family has a royal lineage.

From his youth he was driven by the desire for knowledge and in particular strove to find answers to three questions:

"What is God?"
"What is life?"
"Why is poverty there in the world?"

He was particular in asking questions like if God is there then it is important that he shows up, people used to find this disturbing. The search to find these answers as well as the necessity to further his lot in life lead him into various fields of endeavour, including becoming a qualified practitioner of two systems of Indian Alternative Medicines and a certified practitioner of Homoeopathy as well.

Sri Rudrabhayananda conveys his understanding of God and its through his speeches and writings Transformations.

At the age of ten he had mastered the occult science of creating the Auric Grid.

Though he was not able to gauge what he was doing but he knew the art. The transformation started soon and he was blessed to be in contact with many spiritual teachers who were interested to provide him knowledge and also make him aware of the knowledge he gained from his past lives. Rudrabhayananda was the name given to R. Venugopalan by Aghoree Baba Pinadrik ji, one of the most respected practitioners of Aghoree panth.

In 1996, Sri Rudrabhayananda formed Soul Searchers, a centre for teaching occult sciences to his disciples. Seekers have claimed that they have experienced physical and emotional healing, have been able to eliminate stress successfully and have been able to create a sense of belonging. He has developed more than 2000 meditation techniques and over 20 programs covering various fields at the Body, Mind and Soul levels. Many of these techniques have been covered in various books and Kits that he has written and prepared.

Sri Rudrabhayananda has been consistently and selflessly conducting workshops across India on Kundalini Diksha, Reiki I, II, Mastership and Grand mastership, Ananth Yoga among many other techniques that help the seekers in a manifold way.

He says, "Manushya, the term, has its origin in two words one 'Mana' meaning manas (heart+brain) and second being 'Isa' meaning the process of transcending. When the realization of this word occurs, the man in the form understands the real purpose of life and grows beyond to be Manav or humane."

Mahashunya Kriya, a form of Sadhana, developed by Sri Rudrabhayananda is at the core of the Soul Searchers course, Ananth Yoga. It is a four level course for sadhakas and disciples and all individuals. It works at three levels - Mind, Body and Soul. Mahashunya Kriya, if practised with sincere efforts, allows a person to go into the state of Samadhi.Ananth Yoga helps sadhakas in rising above the material world and desires. It reduces stress and helps balance the major chakras of the body.

Finding Peace Within - Weekend Workshop on Mindfulness Meditation in Malaysia

I do not want the peace that passeth understanding. I want the understanding which bringeth peace. – Helen Keller

PEACE is forever elusive, if not short-lived. Peace is what most of us are looking for behind the facade of our pursuit for fame, wealth and happiness. And when we finally arrive at the doorstep, instead of finding peace, we are met with dissatisfaction and unfulfilment.

The question foremost in most of our minds is, where is peace? Can peace be bartered? Is peace reachable? Could peace be found within every one of us, where we are just required to recognise its presence, instead of pursuing it externally?

An ancient art of self-awareness, Mindfulness Meditation is a simple yet profoundly transformative tool in bringing one to understand his or her mind deeply, ultimately leading to self-realisation and freedom.Stripping off all modes of religious beliefs, visualisations, recitations and even concentrated states, this simple technique of inner observation enables one to recognise the corelation of cause and effect that results in the way we experience our lives. By working with cause, we open the doorway to a more purposeful life that is connected to the present moment.

The continuous practice of mindfulness creates a new way of being where we are able to manage our stress and emotions better. This simple act of being aware brings about immense mental and physical health benefits. With presence of mind, we are able to foster compassionate relationships and have better communication with others.

Weekend Workshop on Mindfulness Meditation in Malaysia

Practicality of meditation in our daily lives is redefined in this two full-day workshop filled with fun and new understanding as participants are guided with activities, presentations, discussions and practical sessions that makes the journey of self-realisation accessible and enjoyable.

Spiritual Village In The Press

Woke up to a flux of congratulatory text messages early this morning informing me that Spiritual Village is in the news. Forgetting to wash up and still half-naked, I ran out to the streets to welcome the paper boy, much to his surprise. Grabbed the Sunday Star and flipped through all the pages to see what the excitement is all about. Wow, a two-page spread (p.8 and 9) in the Sunday Metro of Malaysia's leading newspaper, The Star, on my friend Andrew Khor & Spiritual Village.

Restoring well-being

Sunday May 4, 2008
Sunday Metro, The Star
Story and photos by GRACE CHEN

While finding ways to heal himself, a former copywriter experienced a spiritual awakening and became a holistic healer himself.

THE copywriter who came up with the ‘Malaysia Boleh’ slogan is now a holistic healer who runs a centre to restore spiritual well-being.

It was inevitable for this writer to come to the presumption that she would be hypnotised when Andrew Khor, 50, a holistic healer, dangled a pretty rose quartz pendant in front of her eyes.

No such thing happened, of course.

Crystal of love: Andrew Khor showing the rose quartz pendant with the healing symbols

Instead, the affable father of one whisked out his pen and proceeded to draw a series of short wavy lines with dots and hyphens on an A4 paper.

These, he explained are healing symbols dating from 2,500 years ago and they are the very same ones used by Tibetan holy men.

“These symbols will empower the individual to feel peace, love and joy. I will ‘program’ these symbols into the rose quartz,” said Andrew.

Saying so, he placed the rose quartz pendant on the paper of symbols in front of his associate, Annie Foo, another holistic healer.

She pressed her fingers to her forehead and closed her eyes.

In her meditative state, she reported that she felt the energy of these symbols entering the crystal pendant.

In a few moments, the ‘programming’ of the crystal was complete and whosoever wears it, assured Andrew, will gradually feel the positive effects he has promised.

As for the effectiveness, Andrew said that some may attribute the feeling of well-being after these healing sessions as a psychological effect instead of crediting it to holistic methods.

But to dispel any notion of fraud, he brought out a certificate to show his association with the Malaysian Society of Complementary Therapies where patient records show what has taken place in the consultation rooms.

It has been a year now since Andrew founded Khoracle, a holistic healing centre. This unassuming Ipoh-born but Penang-bred charmer revealed that he had experienced his first spiritual awakening in 1995 at the Petaling Jaya Civic Centre when Nirmala Mataji, the founder of Sahaja Yoga, came to Malaysia.

Spurred by this newfound development, Andrew spent the next four years studying about holistic medicine.

Looking back, Andrew has certainly played his part in inspiring positivity in his former job as a copywriter with Ogilvy and Mather where he stayed for 17 years. Having created the ‘Malaysia Boleh’ tagline for Milo in 1993, it would become the nation’s battle cry of the 90s.

But life has its funny turns.

Andrew’s powerful tagline may have inspired thousands but spiritually, he had become a walking ghost due to work stress.

An astrologer he visited in 1999 warned that if he carried on with his job, a heart attack or stroke was imminent.

To confirm this, a blood pressure reading of 160/140 caused his physician to comment, “I don’t understand why you are still walking around”.

Sign of the times: Andrew also makes permanent models of healing symbols with crystal stones and perspex sheets.

And that was when Andrew realised that he had to heal himself.

In the process, he would describe the journey as an awakening of the senses and this, he said, had made him more emotionally intuitive.

“All of us have these senses in us. We just need to develop them.

“When you go on a spiritual journey, you activate four of these inner senses. One is clairsentience, the ability to sense the feelings of others, the second is claircognizence, when one just know things, the third is clairaudience, the ability to hear and talk to entities from other dimensions and fourth, clairvoyance, the ability to read the auras and chakras,” explained Andrew.

He also affirmed that these heightened senses had enabled him to see things most of us cannot.

“I can see colours on top of an individual’s head. These are the colours of their aura. To me they are as real as the colours that you can see on your living room sofa,” he said.

As to the healing sessions, Andrew said he has seen followers with dark chakras denoting illness and masses of darkness emanating from their auras.

This is a sign of unhappy thoughts which, if left to fester, will result in chronic illnesses.

In his healing journeys he has even helped to remove ‘illegal tenants’, which he describes as beings with no concept of eternal life and is the cause ill health and unhappiness.

Andrew’s main goal is to advise these unhappy people to forgive and forget and focus on happy thoughts.

“It is important to love oneself and 90% of the people I see don’t know how to do that.

“Little do they know that this can be achieved by listening to their own bodies. It can as simple as taking a break like going for ice cream,” he smiled.

So, back to the crystal pendant.

That, Andrew informed, is part of the Khoracle healing options kit designed to heal mind, body and soul in a safe, non-invasive and natural way.

The other items include a CD featuring music from crystal bowls by Katharina Bless.

According to Andrew, Katharina is a Swiss holistic healer and a personal friend who resides in Thailand.

To date she has launched four albums on Crystal Sound Healing.

There is also a bottle of sea minerals in the package.

As for how they work, Andrews explains that the crystal bowl music CD is designed to correspond harmonically with energy centres in the human body which act as conduits of energy that are responsible for maintaining one’s well-being.

The sea minerals solution, on the other hand, contains 92 trace minerals that support 20,000 hormonal functions in the human body.

First Annual World Fairy Festival This Weekend

An Email from Doreen Virtue

World Fairy Festival, May 3 and 4, 2008

This time of year has long been regarded as a sacred holy celebration in Celtic traditions. Beltaine is a time of honoring Mother Nature, of heralding springtime, and celebrating the spirit of the environment. So it’s fitting that we are linked internationally for World Fairy Festival on Beltaine weekend, connecting with the nature angels . . . also known as the fairies.

The fairies represent the pure power and life force energy of Earth and all of her inhabitants. Think of them as the Knights and Guardians who protect Mother Earth. The fairies are the overseers and healers of the air, land, water, and beings of the Earth. The more of us who believe in the fairies, the more power they have to heal and protect our precious planet.

In the past, fairies have been feared and maligned as untrustworthy or filled with mischief. Well, the fairies ARE fun-loving, with the emphasis on the word LOVING. The fairies remind us that our inner child is fully alive, and needs to come out and play.

There is nothing fearful about the fairies. They are beings of high integrity with an important purpose. They are just as much God’s creation as are the celestial angels and you and me. They ARE trustworthy and safe divine beings of light and love.

Let us all commit together today to help the fairies’ sacred mission of environmental healing and protection by doing our part. Let us all promise to recycle and to use earth-friendly cleaning and personal supplies; to treat animals, birds, and fish with compassion and love; to play, laugh, sing and dance; and to spend daily time outdoors in nature.

Thank you fairies, for your gifts to the earth! Thank you for watching over the Heavenly Creations. We now commit to being conscientious stewards of this planet.

With love,
Doreen Virtue

First Annual World Fairy Festival - Message From The Angels

In conjunction with the upcoming First Annual World Fairy Festival, here is a message from the angels by Doreen Virtue. Remember to mark your diaries and be there!

Clairaudience: Hearing Your Angels' Messages
Monday, 31 March 2008 21:30
By Doreen Virtue

From the angels:

We aren't that difficult to hear if you will listen for us with an open heart. Most of the time, we are closer to you than you can imagine. A whisper, a thought, is the only signal we need from you to get a conversation started. We have enormous respect for what you're going through here on planet Earth at this time. We never seek to interfere with your lives, only to bring you blessings of insights and new ways of looking at yourselves.

Not everyone "hears" angelic voices as an audible sound. Many people receive divine messages through nonverbal means such as visions, feelings, or a knowingness.

Hearing the voice of God and the angels is called "clairaudience," which means "clear hearing." The voice may sound like your own or it may sound different. The voice can emanate from within your body, within your mind, or sound as if it's outside your head. When an angel warned me that my car was about to be stolen, his voice sounded as if he were talking through a paper towel tube just outside my right ear. An hour later, when I found myself in the middle of a car-jacking, the same angel guided my life-saving actions by speaking to me through an inner voice.

While receiving the angel messages in my book, "Angel Therapy," I heard the words both inside and outside my mind. You might hear a faint voice and wonder what it said. In such cases, go ahead and ask your angels to repeat their message. Say to them, "A little louder, please." The angels appreciate your feedback, as they want to deliver clear and understandable guidance.

At first you may believe that the voice is your imagination and wishful thinking. This is especially true when you begin consciously interacting with angels. You think, "This is a fantasy. I wish it were true that angels would help me, but I'm probably doing something wrong and the angels won't notice me."

We heal this type of thinking through faith, trust, and practice. If your faith in angels is uncertain, ask God to help you. Pray, "Please help me to have more faith. I am willing to release all of my fears that keep me from having full faith." The Divine universe always fulfills requests for more faith.

Angelic voices are consistently loving and supportive, even when they warn us of impending dangers or wrong turns. As a psychotherapist, I was trained to believe that hearing voices was a sign of insanity. Yet, the voice of the ego is the only source of "insanity." Ego voice messages are always destructive, abusive, and impulsive. For example, the ego may try to convince you that you'll fail. The ego also changes its mind constantly, so it will tell you to do one thing Monday, another thing Tuesday, and a completely different thing Wednesday. If you listen to the voice of the ego, your life will be chaotic and fear-filled.

Angelic voices, by contrast, patiently repeat the guidance to us day after day until we finally follow it. You may hear your angels tell you for years that you would be a great healer or author, for example. Or your angels may repeatedly ask you to take better care of your body. You know that guidance comes from angels when it is loving, focused, not hurtful to you or your family, and consistent.

Clairaudience is just one of four of the ways we receive angelic assistance, however. Your angels may speak to you in pictures and visual mental images. We call this "clairvoyance" or "clear seeing." Angelic messages may come to you as single snapshot images, either in your mind or outside your mind. Or, you may see miniature scenes, as if from a movie. The images may be black-and-white or full color. Angelic visual messages can be symbolic, such as seeing a stop sign as a signal that you should take a rest, slow, or stop what you are doing.

Intuitively, you might readily understand what the visual images mean. For instance, you might see an image of a trophy and instinctively know this means that success is ahead for you. If you have trouble understanding your angelic visual guidance, be sure to ask for assistance. Ask your angels to clarify their message, and continue asking for clarification until you are completely certain of their meaning.

Sometimes we shut down our angelic channels of communication because of fear. You might see an image of your future that frightens you, and turn off your clairvoyance by shutting the third eye's eyelid. One of my clients shut down her clairvoyance when, as a young girl, she saw a visual image of her parents divorcing in the future. Another client closed her third eye because she foresaw herself having an affair with a married coworker, for she wanted to continue her interactions with him while wearing blinders to the truth. One of my other clients was trying to ignore a steady angelic voice within that counseled, "It's time to look for work at a different place," because she didn't trust God to fulfill her material needs during the job transition.

You might also shut off your clairvoyance if you are afraid of what you might see. As much as you want to see your angels in person, you might harbor a deep-seated fear that seeing a "ghost" would be terrifying. Your angels honor such fears, and you won't see angelic apparitions until you feel confident that such a vision would comfort - not frighten - you.

The third way we receive angelic guidance is through our emotions and physical sensations. We call this, "clairsentience," or "clear feeling." Clairsentients get divine guidance through bodily sensations, such as a tightening of the jaw, fists, stomach or sex organs. They intuitively know the specific meaning of these tightening reactions. A clairsentient feels air pressure and room temperature changes that warn him of negative situations. Each of our five senses has a corresponding spiritual sense. Clairsentients receive angelic guidance through an etheric sense of smell, taste, and touch.

You may know that your beloved deceased grandmother is near when you smell her perfume or favorite flower fragrance. An angel may shower your room with the aroma of orange blossoms to tell you of an impending wedding.

Clairsentients receive a lot of guidance through their intuition, gut feelings, and hunches. Much of our intuition comes from the stomach region, and the stomach flutters, relaxes, and tightens according to the angelic guidance. Instinctively, the clairsentient interprets the meaning of these gut feelings and a wise clairsentient follows these internal directives without hesitation.

Clairsentients get angelic messages through their heart and love emotions as well. If a thought of doing something swells your chest with warm feelings of joy, this is a directive from God and the angels. You may think, "Oh this is too good to be true; I am just dreaming," but the joy that your thought has brought you is a road map leading you to the life you are meant to have.

We call the fourth means of angelic communication "claircognizance" or "clear knowing." Men are frequently claircognizant, and may not even realize they naturally receive detailed and accurate information from God and the angels. You can ask a claircognizant a question on almost any topic in the world. Within minutes, he will give you an accurate answer, completely supported by facts and figures. You might say, "How did you know that?" and he'll answer, "I don't know! A few minutes ago, I didn't know that information."

A claircognizant knows without knowing how he knows. Consequently, he may doubt the validity of his knowingness. This is a mistake, because when divine wisdom enters our minds, it is a gift we can use to improve our lives and to serve the world.

We all have access to all four channels of communication. Usually, we have one primary means of receiving angelic guidance and one secondary or lesser channel of communication. With practice, you can become adept at receiving messages in all four ways. In the beginning of speaking to your angels, though, most people concentrate upon their natural means of communication.

Naturally visually oriented people will want to pay attention to their mental visions. If you tend to focus upon sounds, then listen for inner or outer words, voices, and auditory messages. If you tend to be a touchy-feely type, your emotions and bodily sensations are the instruments that relay divine guidance to you. And if you are intellectually inclined or a person who constantly searches for hidden meanings in situations, then you'll want to monitor your thoughts for those heavenly moments of "knowingness" that bring you certainty in guiding your actions.

Behind the First Annual World Fairy Festival 2008

Since I posted the article about the First Annual World Fairy Festival, I received a fair bit of enquiries about the myth of "fairies" and the upcoming festival. Here is an article from the Malaysia Official Website promoting this Festival:

The Story Behind the World Fairy Festival

Article source: http://worldfairyfestivalmalaysia.wordpress.com/about-world-fairy-festival/

In the spiritual world, fairies (elementals/elemental realms) are actually nature’s angels who protect our air, water, land, plants, and animals, keeping our planet green. It is believed the more we are willing to believe in fairies, the more power they have to help our environment. However even if fairies are still part of your make-believe rainbow and unicorns world, it doesn’t matter. As long as you have love for Mother Nature, it is all that matters.

The goal of World Fairy Festival is to educate about the reality of the natural world, and how the energies of fairies can improve our well-being and heal the Earth. First of all it is about having respect for our environment and all living on it: animals, plants, etc. Also, it is all about having fun! Imagination and play is as vital to health and happiness as a healthy diet. We believe fun is a necessity, not a luxury.

Our elemental realm are the trees, grass, flowers, shrubs, living creature’s, Gaia’s soil, vibration, Universal Life Force Energy, the air we inhale and exhale, the Sun’s warmth, the Moon’s cool tranquil glow, and our unseen light workers of the elemental kingdom. This is a day dedicated to them, our other half, and very part of our beingness!

More About Fairies

Article source: http://www.vikkianderson.com/Fairies/FairiesWorld.html

Fairies are a very general term describing any spiritual being who resides in or helps a particular part of nature. Some of them even become an object for its entire life. For instance, it is said that some Oak Tree Fairies would actually merge with the oak tree and live a considerable number of years growing older and wiser and seeing the Earth and its inhabitants evolve. Apparently, the fairies are not pleased with the evolution of mankind or our environment and have been retreating into objects or stay hidden from humans so that we may never know the pleasure of having them around us to help.

It is said that fairies were very common when civilization was young and eventually as countries were settled. With the continued settling of the country, the wee-ones felt they were being pushed out of their homes and natural environments. In defense, many of them turned themselves into wild animals to protect themselves against these stranger or intruders. It is not that fairies are nasty, although some have been known to be, it is just that they have a limited resource, Earth, and they see us slowly but surely destroying it. They can guide us and offer to help with our new obsession of recycling and saving Mother Earth, yet it seems too much damage has already been done. There are Earth Fairies who protect our environment and the planet. They are trying to make all of us aware of our natural resources and the limited time that is left before we have exhausted all of our renewable resources. They are trying so hard to help us only if we would listen to our intuitions and let them.

Fairies or Sprites (male fairies) hide in meadows and fields and particularly love flowers and tall grasses. They love to spy on humans to see what we are up to, and are particularly playful, like human children. They may even try to get your attention in unusual places and in strange ways. Sometimes, it might feel like a bug is crawling on you and you try to brush it off but there was nothing there! Or if you are walking through a field or meadow and you are suddenly aware of wiping cob webs from your face. Usually cobwebs aren’t found at that level and have nothing to cling onto in an open field, so again, it is “the little ones” trying to make you realize they are awaiting you to invite them into their lives.

Elementals

The elemental fairies are broken down into different categories depending upon their responsibility. The elements are fire, earth, air and water. Sometimes either is also used as an element, but being ether is from which all elements come, we usually do not use it.

Fire Fairies correlate to Aries, Leo and Sag in the zodiac and their elemental name is “salamander.” Their subdivision is a very short one. It consists of the salamander and the flame spirits. Those two subdivisions of fire take care of all the needs of this elemental.

Earth Fairies correlate to Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn in the zodiac and refer to the ever-popular “gnome.” The earth subdivision is a little more complex. It indicates two major subdivisions of the surface fairies and the underground fairies. The surface fairies consist of tree and wood or garden fairies. The underground fairies consist of the rock spirits or gnomes.

Air Fairies correlate to Gemini, Libra and Aquarius in the zodiac and have the “sylph” as its representative. Air fairies are broken into two categories. One is the sylph and the other subdivision is the nature spirits which include the cloud, storm and dragon spirits.

Water Fairies correlate to Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces in the zodiac and are called “undines.” This group is subdivided into salt and fresh water. The fresh water spirits are called undines. The salt water consists of water babies, sea sprites and storm fairies.

Although the little spirits go by these names, I usually just refer to them by their element since calling them their rightful name may bring totally different concepts of what the fairies would look like. In fact, fairies can be many shapes, colors and sizes, but frequently take on human form because they know that’s what we expect to see. If you suppose they would look like an animal, they will. If you believe they will look very ethereal and spirit like, you wish is their command. Their intent is to make you comfortable with their form – their intentions are usually honorable and caring.

Fire Fairies can make and controls fire or make fire burn out of control, depending upon the circumstance.

Earth Fairies are usually mischievous and like to hide things, but eventually return them to you if you ask nicely. I usually call upon my Earth Fairies to help me locate lost items. They also protect the flora of our planet.

Air Fairies control the different air currents related to wind, storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc., but also the nice warm breezes of summer.

Water Fairies control the water flow of rivers and oceans and help heal the water bodies as much as possible in light of world pollution. They even turn the water into ice and snow in the winter and then can turn the dew to frost.

First Annual World Fairy Festival - May 3 through 4, 2008

Picture taken from www.worldfairyfestival.com

Fairies are nature’s angels who protect our air, water, land, plants, and animals. They are the angels who keep our planet green. The more people who believe in fairies, the more power they have to help our environment.
Cultures who believe in fairies generally have better produce, more parks, and more respect for the environment.

The goal of the World Fairy Festival is to educate people about the reality of fairies, and to learn from their important lessons:
  1. Having fun and playing is vital to health and happiness. Fun is a necessity, not a luxury.
  2. Respect for animals and our environment is paramount. Every person’s contributions count.
  3. Fairies are God’s nature angels. They received a bad reputation from people who mistreated the environment, and who were afraid of the power that fairies have (and which they lend to people who respect the environment). This power is God-given, pure, and needed in our world right now to help our earth to heal.
Around the globe on May 3 through 4, there will be Fairy Workshops, Play Days, and other fairy-related events, all hosted by certified Angel Therapy Practitioners® and Angel Intuitives™.

Waves of healing energy will be sent by Angel Therapy Practitioners® and Angel Intuitives™ worldwide to our Mother Earth during the festival, and certain percentage of the proceeds will be donated to local environmental and children’s charities.

To find out more about the festival and locations worldwide, please visit http://www.worldfairyfestival.com/ for more information.
As for myself, I am already making plans to attend this festival. I'm inviting all my friends to join me & to have a great time. I was told that this festival is neither for the spiritually minded nor the non-spiritual type. I was assured it was meant for everybody to have a great time & to show appreciations to mother earth. For those interested in joining me, check out http://worldfairyfestivalmalaysia.wordpress.com/ for location and festival highlights or email me at myspiritualvillage@gmail.com for more information.
